The Lecht, Glenshee and Cairngorm Mountain 

There are three ski centres on our doorstep: The Lecht, Glenshee and Cairngorm Mountain. Skiers and snowboarders are in their element when the snow comes in, especially on bluebird days. All ages and stages are welcome, The Lecht is especially well suited to beginners. Come and play on the wonderful slopes of the Cairngorms.

Aviemore Community Ice Rink

The sliding adventure carries on with the Aviemore Community Ice Rink – you can get your skates on or have a crack at curling.  This community venture has fun times at its core – come and get stuck (or slide!) in.

Rothiemurchus – Winter Quad Biking 

Rothiemurchus is an iconic Cairngorms destination.  Guided quad trekking is the perfect way to adventure through forest trails – exhilaration and a whole new perspective…and maybe even a hairy coo!

Loch Insh Outdoor Center

The possibilities for winter fun at Loch Insh Outdoor Center are endless – archery, an ice rink, a brand new dry ski slope for skiing, boarding and tubing…which is the best fun. Check out their website – there is loads to do.

Landmark Forest Adventure Park

Experience the breathtaking Ancient Forest TwiLIGHTS, where thousands of lights and visual effects create a magical experience. The trail is pram and wheelchair accessible and for those with a head for heights, you can venture into the canopy of the forest on The Red Squirrel Trail, which is 8 metres into the treeline!
