Nudist tourists are now able to enjoy naturism holidays in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. In a secret location hidden amongst the glens and heather sits the newly refurbished “Lomnochd Hotel. (Lomnochd is Scottish Gaelic for nudist.)
Open exclusively to naturists, the secluded nudist-only hotel opened yesterday.
The hotel is set high at altitude so sun worshiping guests can take advantage, as the snow reflects the sun’s rays in winter on the large chalet style deck.
There will be wood burning stoves in every room and hot tubs on the outside deck to ensure guests are comfortable. Staff are also nudists to ensure they blend in. Guests will be required to remove their clothes at the entrance and must be naked at all times while on the premises, according to the strict house rules that have already been posted on the hotel’s website.
“We saw the opportunity to chase the “nudist pound” and so we did,” said Peter Smingfellow, owner of the new ten bedroom boutique Lomnochd hotel.
