Anna Wells was the first female to complete a winter Munro round last year and is also an accomplished climber and Alpinist. Adriana Brownlee is the youngest person to have scaled all fourteen 8000metre Himalayan peaks, summiting the final one last October at the age of 23. Our family ceilidh is always a sell out evening. We have live music from The Blaeberries, stovies to keep you fuelled and a licenced bar featuring local beers and gins.

Repair Cafe Cairngorms runs from 2 til 5 one Sunday afternoon most months (not April, July, August or December). Our volunteer repairers will have a go at fixing a wide range of common household items including textiles and clothing, lamps and other small furnishings, jewellery, metal and wooden objects, portable appliances, sewing machines, and garden items. They can also help you to work out how to repair something if you’re keen to have a go yourself. Our Repair Cafe events are always lively and welcoming. And our cakes and hot drinks are very popular too!
On 23rd January 2024 I was diagnosed as being neurodivergent which was kind of a surprise to me, funny enough not to anyone that knows me.
Although surprising this pretty much answered my full life and why I am the way I am. So come join me in a show where I’ll give you a 1st hand insight from my delusional eyes to what goes on in my ever expanding mind with stories of how I’ve manage to survive through a life of total confusement to how and why I now prefer to be alone, mostly!

Anna will delve into her climbing background and explore the motivations that drove her to take on the Winer Munro Round. Discover what she learned about resilience, commitment and finding joy in difficult conditions.
Alongside photos and videos, Anna will recount her preparation, strategy and most memorable days of the winter; Soaring highs with breathtaking sunrises to long lonely nights battling through blizzards.
Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or simply curious about Scotland’s wild places, join Anna for an evening that celebrates adventure and the power of setting big goals. The night will end with a Q&A, giving you a chance to ask questions about the journey.

The annual F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour is back in the UK and will be on the road from November with a top notch selection of short films that are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead!
This year there will be films that take you into the science of the Costa Marlin Project, to the deep depths of the jungle for massive Peacock Bass and will feature a Steelhead story with characters as rare as the fish itself, plus much more.
F3T is the original and largest fly fishing film event of its kind and is proud to be an annual community event for all anglers.
Doors & Event Bar will open at 5pm, The Fly Fishing Film Tour will get under way at 5.30pm.
This winter will mark the 75th anniversary of the Warren Miller film legacy. When Warren first picked up his camera in 1949, it ignited a new genre of adventure sports filmmaking.
Warren Miller films have captured the stories of skiers and riders from every edge of the winter world and continue to gather audiences each fall to celebrate the start of the season.
Narrated by Jonny Moseley and simply titled “75”, this years film will celebrate the historic anniversary with emerging athletes and storytelling that will set the tone for the next 75 years.
The evening also includes a short intermission to grab some refreshments and take part in a great prize giveaway. It’s time to catch up with your skiing and snowboarding buddies, celebrate winter and get inspired for adventures still to come.
