A blessing of the animals has long been associated with St Francis of Assisi. The Feast Day of St Francis falls on October 4th, so we are following in that tradition of blessing animals. We invite you to bring your animals to church on the 13th, so they can be blessed. However, we do understand the need to keep animals calm and unstressed, so if you feel unable to bring your animal along, bring a photo of them instead.
A blessing of the animals has long been associated with St Francis of Assisi. The Feast Day of St Francis falls on October 4th, so we are following in that tradition of blessing animals. We invite you to bring your animals to church on the 20th, so they can be blessed. A time of blessing the animals will be incorporated into the service, with refreshments following afterwards. All are welcome.

A celebration of the gathering of the harvest around us, giving thanks for all that we have, and looking out to the communities around who may not have what we have and ways in which we can help others.
