In the Snow
Snow is magical and we are lucky to have more of chance of lieing snow at this time of year than the rest of the country. Find a quiet spot and the silence is extra golden in the cold white landscape. Be sure to wear salopettes/waterproof trousers if you are going to get down on one knee!
Take a moment to behold
Take a drive on one of the most beautiful routes through the Cairngorms over the Lecht to the watchers scenic posts which look down towards Corgarff castle. The posts are situated here beside the original spy stone pictured below. A very pictuersque spot to pop the big question.
One of the most popular places in the Cairngorms and for good reason. A golden sandy beach at the foot of the stunning Cairngorm Mountains. No matter the weather this is a truly stunning place for a romantic occasion.
This little gem sits overlooking Loch Alvie and has lots of nooks and crannies, open fires and a really lovely restaurant for date nights and special occasions.
If fine dining is your thing then a visit to the Killiecrankie Hotel is a must. Boasting two AA rosettes and credited by Taste of Scotland as being ‘highly professional and imaginative’.
