Smithy Croft - Great North Lodges

Smithy Croft is a beautiful, spacious lodge in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, perfect for family holidays, group getaways, or a break with friends – dogs included! Located in the friendly village of Carrbridge, it’s just a short walk to the Landmark Forest Adventure Park and only 10 minutes from Aviemore. Sleeping up to 12 guests, the lodge has four large bedrooms, two upstairs king rooms (one with an en-suite), and two downstairs family rooms, each with a king-size bed and two handmade wooden bunk beds that kids will love.

All bedrooms have TVs and plenty of storage, and with bathrooms on both floors, there’s space and comfort for everyone. At the heart of the lodge is a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a cosy wood-burning stove and vaulted ceiling.

The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, two fridges, a wine fridge, and a unique whisky barrel bar.

There’s also a second sitting room upstairs for quiet moments and a utility room with washer and dryer for added convenience. Outside, the private, enclosed garden is perfect for relaxing and entertaining.

Enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, and pizza oven – great for summer evenings under the stars.

Kids can play safely in the Sumggler's Cove pirate-themed playground or test their skills on the Scottish music-themed mini golf course. For cyclists, there’s a secure bike shed and maintenance area.

EV drivers can use the on-site electric car charging point.

The garden is enclosed, with a gate leading to peaceful riverside walks, great for dogs and little explorers. With plenty of space, thoughtful touches throughout, and an unbeatable location for outdoor adventures, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Cairngorms and beyond..
