The Star Hotel in Kingussie, has a rich history closely tied to the local community. First opening the doors in 1892 and continuing to be a staple of hospitality in the region ever since. The hotel has undergone various changes and management over the years, reflecting the evolving needs of its guests. In the 1930s, the Star Hotel was managed by a local family, who were well-known in the area. Noted for their service and the car they ran, which became a recognisable symbol of the hotel during that era.
