Step outside, slow down, and break free from the back-to-back meetings, emails and doing. Slow Coaching is based in the outdoors because it enables us to disconnect from the everyday ‘doing’ and helps you return to a human ‘being.’ Whether as an individual or team, I focus on professional and leadership development which emphasises the personal development.
We cannot develop professionally if we do not develop personally. Think of navigation: you might know where you want to go, yet if you don't know where you are starting from then you could be progressing really quickly - but in the wrong direction.
And so, knowing who we are, and how we think and feel about ourselves is an essential part of determining our starting point. Role modelling and leading by example is important to me, so have a look here at what I mean.
