The Packhorse bridge provides a picturesque location for a picnic and a lovely photo opportunity. This picturesque structure spans the Livet where it tumbles through a narrow, rocky gorge at Bridgend.
It is thought to have been built at the same time as nearby Blairfindy Castle.
Two arches of the bridge still survive, the third having been ripped away during the Muckle Spate of 1829..
