Cairngorm Bothies

Our 12 "Off-Grid" self catering bothies are set in the heart of a Scots pine forest near the village of Logie Coldstone.

Royal Deeside in the Cairngorms National Park is home to a wide range of outdoor activities and attractions.

The nearby Tarland Trails is a must for any mountain bike thrill seekers, whilst walks along the The Deeside Way and Castle Trails offer more gentle outdoor experiences.

Our pet friendly bothies are unique in their layout and views in the forest setting making an ideal base to explore the spectacular surrounding countryside. Each bothy has its own wood burning stove with its own supply of logs, the stove heats the cabin and its hot water and is used for cooking.

Our accommodation on offer is 1 Double bed and a sofa bed OR a trundle single bed (2 mattresses 76 cm by 155cm) – typically children of 10 and under. We have 2 accessible bothies these are Beekeepers and Rowan. The solar farm provides the electricity for the LED lighting, fridge, kettle and shower.

These bothies are a great way to experience an off grid holiday in a stunning Cairngorm setting..
