Spey Bank Studio

The Spey Bank Studio is an art gallery and shop in the heart of Grantown-on-Spey.  Run by popular Cairngorms artist Angus Grant and his partner Jane Candlish, the studio seeks to create a place for the arts to thrive in Badenoch and Strathspey.  Housed in Grantown's former Bank of Scotland offices, this B-listed Georgian building is at the heart of the town. The ground floor venue comprises flexible exhibition and workshop space, as well as a shop, artist's studio and a pottery.

The Spey Bank Studio holds regular exhibitions and practical classes in ceramics throughout the year, including one-day introductory sessions.  It is also a base for Angus's own fine art business.

He works from the studio, painting and making his own range of products, including giclee prints, mugs, water bottles and greetings cards.

His work is inspired by the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, where he has spent most of his life. Summer opening hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 10am to 2pm, and Friday and Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

If you wish to visit outwith these times, please get in contact to arrange a suitable appointment. .
