STYLISH MID CENTURY HOME Strathy House is a 1960’s mid-century family home, which has been newly refurbished, insulated and sympathetically modernised, retaining much of the design flair of its original designer owners.

The light and open style of the house, including an enclosed winter garden courtyard, has been retained, with the decoration reimagined with wallpapers by designer Marie Helena and Designers Guild, furnishings by Venjakob and Ercol, beds by Hypnos, plus original orange globe light fittings and newly recovered 1960’s Harrods Sofas! Strathy House sleeps up to 10, in 3 king size and 2 twin bedrooms, served by 2 en-suites, one private shower room and one family bath/shower room, all with rainfall showers and marble basins.

There is a large kitchen/diner, with American style fridge freezer, Range cooker and AEG appliances, a living room with TV and wood burning stove plus a separate TV room, both with large UHD TV’s with SKY, Netflix and Bose sound systems.

The 3 double bedrooms also have their own TV’s.

The central enclosed winter garden has comfortable seating and is home to a mature camelia which flowers early in the year..
