Artisan cheese shop on site. Cambus O’May Cheese Company produces handcrafted artisan cheeses in the heart of Royal Deeside, using traditional family recipes and time-honoured methods that date back more than 50 years.
Based near Ballater within the Cairngorms National Park, the creamery is renowned for its rich, unpasteurised cheeses inspired by the landscapes and heritage of the north east of Scotland. Their range includes the award-winning Cambus O’May, Lochnagar, Lairig Ghru, Auld Lochnagar and Auld Reekie cheeses, each carefully handcrafted to deliver distinctive flavours and textures.
From creamy and nutty to mature and smoky, the cheeses reflect the passion and craftsmanship behind this family-run Scottish business. Visitors can also enjoy the onsite creamery café and shop, where they can sample local produce, cheese toasties and freshly made coffee while experiencing a true taste of Royal Deeside.
