A Lodge at the edge of the pines Salmon Run Lodge sleeps 6 guests and is a charming holiday lodge situated approximately 0.5 miles from or a 20 minute riverside walk to the highland village of Carrbridge in the Spey Valley.
Carrbridge, which was the birthplace of the Scottish Ski industry in the late 1950’s and is a fantastic Scottish holiday destination.
It’s small, intimate yet full of history with the famous Pack horse bridge and is home to the Landmark Adventure Park, great for kids of all ages.
Carrbridge has a couple of pubs, restaurants, a coffee shop, a takeaway, a general store, petrol station and during the year folk singing is on most weeks.
Salmon Run Lodge is located on the edge of a mature pine forest where the rear of the lodge looks into the forest and to the south facing front is the River Dulnain and the hills beyond, the lodge location means that it gets the sun most of the day..
