Hostel Accommodation in Tomintoul, Scotland The Smugglers is the highest hostel in the Scottish Highlands, located in the picturesque village of Tomintoul, surrounded by stunning countryside waiting to be explored and enjoyed.

The Smugglers welcomes up to 24 people to stay in our 5 cosy dorm rooms.

The hostel has great facilities and friendly and informative staff, so whether you are travelling alone or as part of a group you are assured a warm welcome and comfortable stay.

Tomintoul is a hidden gem in the Cairngorms National Park and a great location to base yourself for a range of outdoor activities, photography, wildlife watching, whisky tasting and so much more.
