Glen Brae Cottage is a charming cottage in a row in the picturesque village of Braemar that has easy access to the village’s shops, pubs, cafes and interesting independent shops, as well as being very well placed for exploring the varied landscape of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms National Park.
At each end of the sitting/dining room is a wood-burning stove so it is very cosy and welcoming with an open plan layout that makes it the perfect place to gather in the evenings.
Relax and watch a film on the Smart TV or enjoy meals together followed by discussions on what activities to try next.
Alongside the dining area is additional seating for sitting reading a book or enjoying a drink and a chat by the crackling fire.
From the sitting room an archway leads straight through to the kitchen, so it is handy when it comes to serving up at meal times.
The stylish kitchen has everything needed easily to hand with a useful utility room off it and a door that leads out to the pretty garden.
The three bedrooms are all upstairs with two double rooms that each have king-size beds and their own en suite facilities and a bright twin bedroom that makes use of a modern bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
Both the twin and master bedrooms enjoy comfy seating next to large, west-facing windows overlooking the village and the Linn of Dee.
For maximum flexibility, the twin beds are ziplock so they can be joined together to create a super king-size bed if desired.
Off road parking is right by the door and the sweet garden behind the house, that is shared with the sister property Glen Mar Cottage next door, has its own seating area from which to dine al fresco or simply enjoy the views of Creag Choinnich.
With the two cottages being alongside each other they are ideal for larger groups wanting to holiday together but still have their own space..
