How to find us
Carrbridge is a beautiful historic village dating back to the early 1800s. Famous for its 18th century packhorse bridge (if you're lucky you might spot a piper playing there on a summer's evening!), it is perfect for those looking for an alternative to the bustle of Aviemore. For its size, there is a great range of things to see and do in Carrbridge and there is a fantastic selection of walks and bike trails just minutes from the house. The ever popular Landmark Adventure Park is a must for families and is just 5 minutes’ walk from the house. The village hosts a couple of fantastic (and world renowned) annual competitions: the annual Golden Spurtle porridge competition and Carve Carrbridge where you can witness the spectacle of chainsaw woodcarving. Just a minute's walk from the house there is a fantastic traditional pub, the Cairn, which serves great homemade food. There is also a gift shop and gallery showcasing a range of art and crafts from local artists, a golf course, play park, football pitch, BMX park and pony trekking, all within walking distance. Carrbridge is also a short drive or cycle from Boat of Garten, Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey, where there is a good range of eateries, pubs and shops and supermarkets.
