Persie Gin launched in May 2016.
Developed by Scotland’s first touring gin club (Gin Club Scotland), the family of three original gins (Zesty Citrus, Herby & Aromatic and Sweet & Nutty Old Tom) are based on feedback from 4,000 gin-lovers.
These award-winning gins are hand- crafted in small batches in a stables-turned-distillery at the foot of Glenshee in Highland Perthshire.
Dubbed Phil the Still, the 230 litre copper pot still is a thing of beauty, and the first in Scotland from Muller in Germany.
Persie Distillery joined forces with PADS (Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society) in 2018 as its dedicated charity partner.
The team’s mission was to release a family of dog gins – with different styles of gin reflecting different breeds! We created our Labrador gin, Spaniel gin and Dachshund gin liqueur.
For every bottle sold one pound is donated to PADS to help provide care and shelter for the country’s unwanted dogs.
It all happens in a steading-turned-distillery in the former Persie Hotel on the A93- the highest public road in the UK and the main tourist route from Perth to Aberdeenshire.
Just a 40 minute drive from Pitlochry, Perth, Dundee, Braemar and Dunkeld.
The distillery is 7 miles north of Blairgowrie, at the foot of Glenshee..
