Macdonald Aviemore Resort - Activities

We have a wide range of activities at Macdonald Aviemore Resort for all our guests.

You’ll find lots to keep you entertained whatever the weather. The purpose built Aviemore Activity Centre has a wide range of activity rooms for children of all ages including a sensory room and an X-Box for older children. There's also a large soft play centre perfect for little ones, a large lagoon pool with flume and wave machine plus a gym for grown-ups. Our activity centre is free for all our resort guests and at present only available to guests who stay at Macdonald Aviemore Resort. We also have a kids entertainment programme (during school holidays) and evening shows such as the panto are open to non-residents too. If that’s not enough for children you’ll also find an outdoor play park in the resort grounds with a direct route to take you to Craigellachie Nature Reserve. During school holidays our partners Activity Zone also offer additional paid for activities in our grounds including grass sledging and bike hire. For grown-ups you can enjoy some retail therapy at our onsite luxury department store, Spey Valley Shopping. If golf is your thing tee off just a 5 minute drive away at our sister resort where you’ll find Spey Valley Championship Golf Course.
