AT LOCH INSH Our sixty metre dry slope is open year round.
It has been designed for beginners with a large run out area.
You can avoid the queues and make a strong start to your skiing or progress your skill off the mountain. Parents, you can enjoy a hot chocolate in the Boathouse Restaurant bar while you watch the kids learn to slalom! Our Instructors are accredited by BASI and follow the snowsport awards scheme 'Snowlife'.
We encourage you to explore movements, sensations, terrain and sliding equipment safely, whilst having a lot of fun developing the skills and independence which will help you really enjoy snowsports.
There are nine levels in the scheme, plus two levels for the 5s and under (called the fun awards).
These awards aim to give our clients greater incentives to come back and make progress, especially at the intermediate phase.
Using the awards we can help our clients to enjoy all this safely and in a fun and exciting way.
Always look for the BASI kite mark as this is your guarantee to a good lesson what ever slope and ski school you go to we all teach the same way! ON THE MOUNTAIN In winter we run courses for skiing & snowboarding.
At the Scottish resorts lessons are by the 1/2 day, or longer.
We can drive you, or drive yourself to whichever mountain has the best conditions that day.
Cairngorm 20mins, The Lecht 70mins, Nevis Range 90mins.
Come for a week or weekend or just a day and enjoy the same relaxed atmosphere in a different season.
Our ski slope and centre is open year round you can stay in the log cabins relax in our beautiful Loch side Boathouse restaurant in between practice seasons just outside on the ski slope which you can see from the bar area.
Let us take you up the hill-we are not tied to any particular resort.
However if the weather changes we will still be skiing as we can go to a different resort based on the weather.
We also can use the artificial slope at Loch Insh meaning you have guarenteed skiing what ever the weather book with us and we will make sure you get out on the slopes.
Our groups are specifically tailored to suit your needs so class sizes and adults and kids groups are all matched to your ability and numbers in your party. Many of our staff are dual discipline meaning they will teach either skiing or boarding so if you're not sure what to try come for a few days and try a bit of both you can book in as with all the other activities by the hour or day or week: you decide..
Opening Times
Open 8.30-5.30pm daily all year round on the dry slope. In the winter season lessons operate daily.
