Enjoy four open-air cinema screenings, in the picturesque setting of Balmoral Castle’s North lawn.

During the day, included in the General Admission ticket, the whole family are invited to enjoy a film screening on the North lawn.

The screenings will be ‘Paddington in Peru’ on the 26th July, and ‘Moana 2’ on the 2nd August.

There will be other activities available throughout the day, such as a Birds of Prey display, the return of our Balmoral BBQ, and other stalls and attractions still to be announced.

Bring your camping chairs, blankets and refreshments to enjoy an outdoor screening of Wicked on the 26th July, and The Greatest Showman on the 2nd August, on Balmoral Castle’s North lawn.

Food and snacks can be purchased from the Balmoral BBQ, as well as other food stalls.

This is a separate ticketed event, permitting entry to the grounds from 5pm, for a 6pm screening, on the day in question.

Join us for the Autumn Artisan Markets, run by Exclusively Highlands.

Wander through all the stalls brimming with exquisite food, crafts, and gifts. Enjoy a day of shopping and delight in the creativity of talented artisans.

Entry is free, with a £5 charge for parking. Our gift shop and restaurant will also be open, offering you the perfect way to end your market visit.

We’re thrilled that Ballater Golf Club are hosting this classic bingo night, all in aid of your community hub, your space to explore history, enjoy community services and celebrate village life with local events. From heritage exhibits to eco conscious services, printing and web design, book sales and being the village box office, the hub is here for locals and visitors.

Bring along your unsued biking related stuff and we will sell it for the charities, or come along to browse or get yourself kitted out. If you have more to sell, contact us to find out about renting a table.

We will be fuelled by the Jailhouse Coffee van.

Come along to the Old Bridge Inn and give Screen Printing a try with Colleen from Timber + Stitch.
Screen print your own T-shirt or Tote bag by designing your own stencil or use pre made ones.

Keep the kids entertained or get involved yourself creating your own holiday keep sake on the banks of the Spey while enjoying good beer and food – What’s not to love?

All those who give screen printing a try will be entered into a raffle to win a £50 OBI voucher – yay!

No creative ability required, just come along and give it a go.

Botanical printing, using nature to create art, in an outdoor setting. This craft takes a while so set aside a morning, afternoon or make a day of it!

Willow weaving in woodland – learn a new skill, make a bird or animal and enjoy a time old craft in an outdoor setting.
