Steven Spielberg expertly reunites the rivalry of the Sharks and the Jets in this masterful musical of love and revenge set in 1950s New York City. Bringing new life to one of the world’s best loved films – there’s a new song, a new character and, thanks to digital technology, a stunning new look NYC – you’ll still thrill at the songs, choreography, passion and high drama of it all.

Famously based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story tells the story of two gangs: the Sharks and the Jets. The Sharks are a Puerto Rican gang, gradually encroaching on the patch of their white rivals, the Jets. Ansel Elgort plays Tony, an ex-Jets member trying to keep out of gang warfare. The Sharks leader is Bernardo, who has a controlling relationship with both his girlfriend Anita and his sister Maria, played by newcomer Rachel Zegler. When they meet at a dance Tony and Maria become star-crossed lovers, but their relationship is doomed.

With music and lyrics by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim (America, Tonight, I Feel Pretty and many more) this is one of the cinema highlights we’ve been waiting for over the past 18 months.

“Spielberg’s finest film in 20 years, and a new milestone in the career of one of our greatest living directors” Telegraph

“now a whole new audience can revel in the splendour of West Side Story.” Metro

“I gave my heart to this poignant American fairytale of doomed love.” Guardian

Far in the future, the most valuable substance is spice, a mineral that gives the user superhuman abilities. Spice is only available on Arrakis, an incredibly hostile desert planet and colloquially known as ‘Dune’. When Duke Leto of House Atreides is asked by the Emperor to act as a fief of Arrakis to manage the spice production and keep its native Fremen at bay, he suspects all is not as it seems, but cannot turn down the opportunity. With him, he takes his son Paul, who has been having visions of the future. Out on Arrakis, Paul’s encounters with the Fremen will test him to his limits and reveal the true nature of his premonitions.

Covering only the first half of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed novel, this sci-fi epic uses a booming score, ornate production design, captivating cinematography, and striking acting to send you into a sprawling and living intergalactic universe.

“an astonishing achievement” Empire

After a long and extended wait, Daniel Craig makes his final outing as James Bond in this action-packed 25th film of the series.

Following the events of Spectre, James Bond has retired from MI6 to live a quiet life with Madeleine Swann in Jamaica. But visits from his CIA friend Felix Leiter and the new 007 dare to draw him back into his old life. Both seek his help in finding a renegade scientist developing a biowarfare plan. But it will lead Bond into a dangerous and deadly tangle with Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the mysterious terrorist Safin, and force Madeleine to expose a hidden secret of her own.

Co-written by Phoebe Waller Bridge, and partially filmed in the Cairngorms, No Time to Die brings the curtain on Daniel Craig’s tenure as Bond, drawing narrative threads from his previous films to culminate a gripping story that began all the way back in Casino Royale.

“It’s better than good. It’s magnificent” The Times

“ticks all the boxes, but brilliantly” Empire

“What a joy and relief it is to have you back” Telegraph

“an epic barnstormer … delivering pathos, action drama, camp comedy, heartbreak, macabre horror and outrageous silly old-fashioned action” Guardian

New story from Disney telling the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto.

The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the Madrigal family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal-every child. Except for one, Mirabel. When she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.

Boasting songs by Lin Manual Miranda (he of Hamilton fame), this is a joyous and uplifting story that families will enjoy.

“Inarguably, it’s an out-and-out delight” Telegraph
