When is this event?
After a bit of delay, it’s back, so we hope you can join us for our eighth Vintage Day, Vintage cars, motorbikes, stationary engines, buses, tractors, choppers, auto jumble, BBQ, stalls and more – fun for all the family
On 3rd June, there will be birds of prey display from the Huntly Falconry Centre.
On 4th June, there are plans for 70 corgis to gather together on the lawns of Balmoral! The dogs will be a mix of Pembroke Welsh corgis and Cardian Welsh Corgis assembling in front of the castle to capture this memorable moment on camera.
On 5th June, the Leeds Pipe Band will play on the lawn at 11 am 1 pm and 3 pm.
The castle offers a unique ‘Balmoral Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea’ ticket throughout the entire weekend. This includes an extra special afternoon tea served on fine bone china in the Balmoral coffee shop (from 1 pm – 4 pm).
With your admission ticket (£15 per adult, £6 per child), you are also welcome to take your picnic to the grounds and enjoy it on the lawns. The admission ticket includes an audio tour (about 90 minutes) in which you will learn about the grounds, gardens and royal life. There will also be an extraordinary ‘Life At Balmoral’ exhibition to mark the occasion. A perfect pursuit for a Jubilee weekend!
