Join us for the afternoon showing of Matilda The Musical (PG) at the YMCA Community Centre in Grantown. Drinks and Snacks available. Limited tickets on the door 1/2 hour before the film starts.

Come for a Wildlife Wander with someone from our knowledgeable team to see some of the amazing wildlife that Summer brings to Insh Marshes.

On this leisurely walk, the breeding season is well underway so young birds and other creatures like roe deer will be keeping their parents busy. Lapwing chicks will be feeding, running and hiding while relying on their camouflage and their parents to defend them. The marshes and trail are full of life and colourful scented flowers including orchids

Some areas may be rough underfoot. It is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies, and we recommend sturdy footwear.

On this leisurely walk see the lush green aspen leaves trembling and a variety of bird species, including curlew (which we may hear calling), lapwing and snipe (which could be displaying) and song birds singing through the trees. During sunny intervals early butterflies like orange tip and small tortoiseshell will be flying.

Discover the very best food and drink the Cairngorms has to offer, alongside local high quality crafts and gifts. You’ll find freshly cooked food ready for you to enjoy straight away, as well as things to take away with you too.

There are games for children to enjoy; free parking nearby; sit down meals and drinks at The Winking Owl; outdoor seating and cover.

We aim to offer visitors a lively, bustling atmosphere; provide a balanced cross-section of products, and encourage shoppers to buy local.

Come to Cromdale Hall for an opportunity to meet up with friends or meet new people, at the same time enjoy a hot drink and local baking. All Welcome

With last year’s Dell Market being such a huge success, we just can’t wait for the next one. Another chance to bring together the wonderful assortment of crafters, artists and food and drink producers from our local area.

Here at The Dell we aspire to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible and so we have put together a group of like minded traders to showcase their fantastic products.

There will be a little bit of something for everyone. As well as bagging a beauty and being inspired by the creativity around you, you can hang out under the trees listening to music, watch demonstrations from local green woodworkers and fill up your bellies on food and drink.

Supporting local business owners has never been so important, so we hope you can join us and spread the word.

The Cairngorms Trust is hosting its first event to celebrate and share the stories of the variety of projects supported. By sharing their stories we’re looking to attract more donations to support more community-led projects this year.

Throughout the afternoon you’ll hear from a project that connects with the four key areas that the Cairngorms Trust supports.
🌱 Nature Project
🌱 Infrastructure Project
🌱 Youth Local Action Group recipient
🌱 Community Led Local Development

The projects will share what they have achieved and what they included in their funding application to be successful in securing funds to implement their vision.

And we’ll hear from our own Cairngorms Active E-Bikes Project and the progress this is making to make active travel more accessible across Badenoch & Strathspey.

Nancy Chambers, Trust Manager will also share about future funds to look out for and an update on the future vision for the Cairngorms Trust.

The event is open to all projects supported by the Trust, supporters, fundraisers and communities.

Classic Queen songs performed live…Radio Ga-Ga, We Are The Champions, Under Pressure…Aviemore will be rocking!
