The Cromdale Village Summer Dance will be a great night of music and ceilidh dancing, with music from Hamish Napier (wooden flutes, whistles, piano and vocals) and Eric Pirie (fiddle).

The community really loved the special concert/ceilidh event in the hall back in August 2022 with Patsy Reid, Eric Pirie, and Hamish Napier (The Woods), so please join us again. Rumour has it that raffle will be EVEN BIGGER…so not to be missed!!

This year, award winning Clive John pays homage to Cash’s career as the Man In Black, alongside his iconic wife June Carter (Meghan Thomas) and The Roadshow Horns. This eco-event is now in its 3rd year and will again showcase ways of achieving a sustainable environment with the green credentials of local businesses on display.

The show is organised by volunteer members of Sustainable Strathspey, an eco-group in Badenoch and Strathspey which aims to initiate local change to help tackle the nature and climate emergencies.

We are expecting return visits by most of last year’s stallholders including representatives from the building industry, the Cairngorms National Park Authority, Home Energy Scotland, Grantown Society, wind farm developers, wildlife champions, and experts in waste management, the circular economy and creative child’s play. This year we are extending our invitation to all with an interest in active travel.

Where is this event being held?

The cinema is housed in the YMCA building at the bottom end of town. There is on street parking outside, or there are public carparks with a 1 minute walk.
