Seasonal market held in the beautiful Gynack Gardens – right in the heart of Kingussie.

Come and join us to celebrate our local producers, the community and the Cairngorms.

Dulnain Bridge Village Hall will be hosting a race night on 24 February to help maintain and support running costs of the fabulous village hall. It’s sure to be a fun filled night, further details to follow soon!

A chance to dance, dress up and have some fun! There will be cocktails, lots of latin American colour and a carnival atmosphere – come and join us!

“Bob Harris is a straight-up legend” Chris Martin / Coldplay

BBC’s Bob Harris and author/music journalist Colin Hall set out upon an intimate speaking tour based around their mutual love and appreciation of The Beatles, including rare archive from Bob Harris’ collection of interviews with Lennon & McCartney.

By 1963 the pair had written so many songs they simply couldn’t all be accommodated on just their own Beatles releases, so it made artistic and economic good sense to be offered to other artists for recording and the Merseybeat boom of 1963 & 1964 gave them a tailor-made outlet in artists such as Cilla Black, Billy J. Kramer and Tommy Quickly.

This is the story behind those songs, the hits, the misses and the demos that the group never released: ‘The Songs The Beatles Gave Away’

Tenement Jazz band are a traditional jazz band formed in early 2018 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Brought together by their shared love of New Orleans music, and comprising musicians from various corners of Edinburgh’s vibrant jazz scene, they are on a journey of exploration back to the roots of the music that they play.

One of Scotland’s most celebrated folk singer-songwriters, Siobhan Miller has earned numerous accolades, including four BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards’ Scots Singer of the Year titles and a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Track.

All five of her solo releases have been shortlisted for BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards Album of the Year, including her latest record, Bloom, which was released in 2022 to wide acclaim.

On this leisurely walk see the lush green aspen leaves trembling and a variety of bird species, including curlew (which we may hear calling), lapwing and snipe (which could be displaying) and song birds singing through the trees. During sunny intervals early butterflies like orange tip and small tortoiseshell will be flying.

Some areas may be rough underfoot. It is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies, and we recommend sturdy footwear.

On this leisurely walk, the breeding season is well underway so young birds and other creatures like roe deer will be keeping their parents busy. Lapwing chicks will be feeding, running and hiding while relying on their camouflage and their parents to defend them. The marshes and trail are full of life and colourful scented flowers including orchids
