The beautiful landscape of the Cairngorms National Park has to be experienced, and there are few events that take you on such a breath-taking journey as the Glenlivet 10K!
This April, put on your trainers and stride out for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland at this iconic road race.
You will be joining like-minded people and making friends along the way, at the same time as making sure people with chest, heart and stroke conditions get the support they need to live life to the full.
Set in the stunning landscape of the Glenlivet Crown Estate, the Glenlivet 10K has been nominated as the ‘most beautiful run in Scotland’ in the UK Running Awards.
The spectacular route follows quiet country roads that meander around the River Livet, passing ancient castles and offering amazing views of this secret glen.
The event’s start and finish and all facilities are based at the wonderful Glenlivet Distillery, and the course if suitable for runners and joggers of all abilities.
It has been a long wait since our last event, in 2019, and we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during what has been a traumatic time for so many people.
The support we have received from runners, sponsors, suppliers and the wider local community has been terrific and, although significant challenges remain, we are excited to be able to confirm that our full programme of races is planned to go ahead over the weekend of April 23-24.
Entries are now open and we would encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as limited places are available as a large number of people have deferred places from 2020 and 2021.
If you have already deferred from a previous year, and have confirmation of this, then you don’t need to take any further action at this point. If your original entry was part of a company block booking you should contact your company regarding a new entry.
We will be continuing with our series of special medals depicting notable landmarks within and around the Balmoral Estate. The 2022 medal will feature Balmoral Castle. So, don’t miss out on the chance to secure one of these limited edition mementoes.
A long weekend or day retreat, either way, you can expect good feels playfully investigating the power and adaptability of your body. Working with Carrie Wilde Yoga exploring yoga, meditation and relaxation in the tipi.
The Dell of Abernethy will be cooking delicious food, and we’ll have the horsebox sauna to enjoy.
