I am super excited to bring you this unique, one-off workshop with guest teacher, the utterly fabulous… Yasmin Kabir!!! 🩷✨

She believes wholeheartedly, that dance is a tool to empower people, and empower people she does! Yasmin has an incredibly warm, encouraging and uplifting spirit, and taking part in one of her classes is just joy for the soul. We are so fortunate that she has agreed to fly up and teach for us here in Grantown-on-Spey. As a teacher with experience in multiple styles, Yasmin incorporates influences from different genres and is very excited to share her “Vogue inspired” routine.

Yasmin and I share a similar ethos – that dance is for everybody – all levels, all abilities, EVERYONE! That is really clear in her classes, which I have been lucky enough to attend, where total beginners, people of all ages and different backgrounds all come together and enjoy the music. This is why I am so excited to have her with us, her positive vibe is infectious and I can’t wait for you to experience it for yourselves.

This is going to be a striking, expressive experience, filled with sharp poses, fluid arm movements, and fierce attitude. This workshop is all about confidence, self-expression, and channeling your diva energy!

Join us in the tipi for an intimate evening of song and merriment with the gorgeous pairing of Rachel Sermanni and Louis Abbott, dear old friends of The Dell. We really can’t wait to have them back and for them to kick off the first of our ‘In the Woods’ gigs for 2025.

Rachel Sermanni, originally from just along the road in Carrbridge, is a renowned writer, musician and artist who has been gracing the Sottish folk scene with her stunning vocals and poetic song writing skills since 2011. Add in to the mix the unique and captivating voice of Louis Abbott of Glasgow based band Admiral Fallow, along with his witty banter and crowd pleasing chat, and we have ourselves a beautiful night of music and laughter in the tipi. Rachel and Louis are no strangers to performing together and with their wonderful chemistry and mesmerising voices that complement each other so beautifully, you will definitely be left wanting more.

Doors and bar opens at 7pm with music starting at 8pm, we look forward to seeing you here!

St Patrick, St Brigid of Kildare, St Hildegard of Binger, Abelard and Heloise, Goliards and Le Roman de Fauvel- meet them all in mediaeval sacred chant, satirical song, and dances.

After a five-year break from touring, The Saw Doctors staged a brilliant comeback in 2023 with sold out shows in London at Hammersmith Apollo, New York at Hammerstein Ballroom and two homecoming shows in Tuam, Co. Galway where they played to 10,000 people in St. Jarlath’s Arena.

The Saw Doctors are powered by song writers Davy Carton (vocals) and Leo Moran (guitar) with a band lineup including former Waterboy Anthony Thistlethwaite on saxophone, Rickie O’Neill, drums, Pearse Doherty, bass guitar, Kieran Duddy, keyboards, Noelie McDonnell, backing vocals and Tommy Carton, backing vocals.

“Born into a repressed, catholic, conservative, small-town, agrarian, angst-ridden & showband infested society, The Saw Doctors are trying to preserve the positive elements of our Irish background and marry them to the sounds which have culturally invaded our milieu through TV, radio, social media, 45’s, fast food restaurants, 24-hour petrol stations & electric blankets”. Leo Moran, The Saw Doctors
