For the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, join us for an Angels’ Nectar Whisky Dinner at The Wee Puffin in Grantown-on-Spey.

Robert Ransom, founder of Angels’ Nectar Scotch Whisky, will introduce the Angels’ Nectar Original Blended Malt 40%, Angels’ Nectar PX Sherry Cask Edition Single Malt 46% and the Angels’ Nectar Cairngorms 4th Edition Single Cask Speyside Single Malt 46%, to accompany a three course dinner to include the Wee Puffin’s homemade Haggis Balls, Steak Pie (or Vegetarian Casserole) served with chunky chips and vegetables, followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Inspired by the Angels’ share, independent bottler Angels’ Nectar showcase contrasting styles of Scotch Whisky with a series of small batch releases for you to enjoy.

The Wee Puffin is a friendly, family owned restaurant offering wholesome food, with a whisky bar offering seventy-five different whiskies, the majority of which are also available by the bottle.

Hosted by the charismatic Hamish Malcolm, also known as The Dram Caddy, this exclusive event brings together the rich flavours of five exquisite Speyside whiskies paired perfectly with artisanal charcuterie.

The Stagecoach number 37 or X37 travels through Boat of Garten.

Settle in for an unforgettable experience as Hamish shares the stories behind each dram, weaving in a delightful golfing theme that adds a unique twist to the evening. From the smooth notes of Tomintoul Single Malt to the bold character of Glen Elgin Fable Piper, each whisky promises to be a highlight of the night.

On match days as well as our lounge menu we have special nachos available to purchase from the bar.

You’ll taste four spirits including gin and rum made at Lost Loch Distillery near Aboyne on Royal Deeside, while listening to the story of the Lost Loch, how Haroosh began and why we made Scotland’s first absinthe, Murmichan. THIS EVENT WILL ONLY GO AHEAD IF THERE ARE 4 OR MORE PEOPLE BOOKED (if this event is cancelled, your fee will be refunded in full).

After the success of our annual Christmas Fayre last year, we’re delighted to be hosting it again in 2025, this year Sunday, 7th December.

Each year as winter draws in around the Cairngorms, its mountains and forests turn into a magical winter wonderland. So what better place to host a cosy Christmas market than nestled amongst the Narnia-like pines at Badaguish?

We will have lots of stalls with a wide variety of gift ideas from local crafters and producers. From food & drink to Christmas homeware, something for everyone.

There will be hot food and drinks along with activities for the children before they meet Santa.

All the stallholders donate an item for our charity raffle, so lots of great prizes to be won on the day!

Her menu will have a New Zealand flavour, with sweetcorn fritter stack, and Nairnshire pork cutlet.
