Fun for all the family with a beautiful vintage carousel, Santa’s grotto, character trail and film. A chance to get your Christmas shopping done with the farmers market, craft fair and late night shopping.

We’re delighted to welcome back Exclusively Highlands to Blair Castle for the 2021 Art, Craft and Food Christmas Fair.

With a host of talented, local arts, crafts and food producers on offer, there is plenty to see and purchase in time for the festive season.

As with last year, the fair will look a little different this year and will consist of an outdoor market in the courtyard for a ‘half in, half out” event. A one-way system will guide you from our outdoor market into the ballroom (masks must be worn inside).

Admission is £5 per adult and £3 per child (children under 5 go free) and tickets are available to buy now.

This is the Christmas fair you know and love, it’s just a (hopefully) temporary twist!

Our first event for a while! Refreshments and games for all ages

In the very beautiful setting of Grantown East come and join us for a weekend of street food, beautiful art, fabulous foods and gorgeous crafts. Entry to this event is free .

Also to be enjoyed is the miniature railway which is great fun for children and adults alike and alongside is the wonderful railway carriage restaurant and Grantown East’s own totally unique gift shop.

Join us for our first live music event of the year, Halloween Dinner Dance.

It’s time to let your hair down, put on lots of scary makeup and dress to impress.

Join us for a 2-course meal, 5.30-8 pm, followed by the amazing Anne Dickson band playing all the classics from 9 pm-midnight.

This is a ticket only entry/event.

Enjoy browsing local produce, crafts and art in the square of Grantown-on-Spey.

Please come along to our Car Boot and Table Top Sale on Sunday 10th October – who knows what bargains you might find. We will also have a cafe with home baking. In the event of bad weather, we will move inside, into the main hall and lounge.

On the day when the Gathering usually takes place, the Braemar Highland Games Society is offering a few hours of relaxed and informal entertainment for locals and visitors who usually come in numbers to the village on this day.

The event will kick off with a march lead by the pipe band and leaving the Fife Arms Mews at 11.45am. In the park there will be some friendly races, piping, stalls, food and drink.

Plenty of parking is available in the Braemar Highland Games Park so we ask any visitors to use the parking in this area and make sure the village does not get congested.

Join us for Christmas Day Lunch at Macdonald Aviemore Resort. Experience a great atmosphere, five-course festive feast and let us look after you. Non-residents are welcome.

Arrive on Christmas Day where you can book your table between 12:30pm – 4pm.
