- 1st August 2026
Dinner is our love language!
Let’s gather for an evening of long table feasting, with new & old friends.
We’ll be at the magical Dell of Abernethy for an all out Tipi Mexican Fiesta! Lindsay & I will be joined by Rachel Glueck, local story teller & author of cookbook ‘The Native Mexican Kitchen’. Rachel will take us on a journey into mexican cuisine, culture & mezcal!
Our menu will be inspired by Rachel’s personal experience as well as female chef Ixta Belfrage who spent her youth absorbing food traditions in Italy, Mexico and Brazil. She began her culinary career with Ottolenghi so she’s a bang full of flavour!
You’ll be welcomed with a mezcal cocktail (there will be a virgin option) & some history behind mezcal alongside some nibbles before a feast full of bold flavours & vibrant sharing plates. We’ll take your tastebuds through Mexico with a nod to some local Highland produce. This one is going to be special!
3 courses – £60pp (subject to £1.50 transaction fee)
Saturday 1st August @ 6pm
Dell of Abernethy, Nethy Bridge
We cater for vegetarians – any other dietary requirements, please get in touch before booking! As always, the menu will be a surprise for the evening.

Our menu will be influenced by Pasta Grannies! If you haven’t come across their Instagram – have a look, you’ll go down a pasta making rabbit hole. We’ll be chanelling our inner Nonnas who’ve passed down authentic family recipes through generations. Of course, with a nod to the fantastic local produce on our highland doorstep.

Our favourite night is back! The Gather Inn will be opening again from Friday 3rd April and we personally can’t wait.
A space for you to unwind on a Friday evening and kick off your weekend in the right way
The tipi has always been the perfect space for gathering and enjoying a drink around the fire, but to top it off we will be joined (most Fridays) by ‘Highland Slice’ serving up tasty pizzas and ‘Rik’s Kitchen’ with their delicious plant based Asian inspired offerings. You can pre-order with both Highland Slice and Rik’s kitchen from the Monday prior from 9am, just follow the links on our Instagram or Facebook pages or get in touch.
We don’t take table bookings for the Gather Inn, just turn up, we have plenty of seats inside and out, kids welcome until 8pm. A friendly reminder that if you’re coming with kids, please keep them supervised at all times, particularly in the play area.
The Gather Inn will NOT be running on the following dates:
12th June, 18th September and 25th September
We hope to see you there sometime
After the success of our annual Christmas Fayre last year, we’re delighted to be hosting it again in 2026, this year Sunday, 6th December.
Each year as winter draws in around the Cairngorms, its mountains and forests turn into a magical winter wonderland. So what better place to host a cosy Christmas market than nestled amongst the Narnia-like pines at Badaguish?
We will have lots of stalls with a wide variety of gift ideas from local crafters and producers. From food & drink to Christmas homeware, something for everyone.
There will be hot food and drinks along with activities for the children before they meet Santa.
All the stallholders donate an item for our charity raffle, so lots of great prizes to be won on the day!
Last year we have over 30 confirmed stalls, and expect even more this year, including;
Jackie Hichens Art FleursfeltFlorals Silver-n-Things MHP Designs Achnahannet Farm Produce The Keltic Kitchen Dalwhinnie Deli Little bakes cake cupboard Crafty Macs Cairngorm Gin Company Ltd Blether and Bling Olico Tropic Skincare outsideandleather
