Please give us your bric a brac and household bits and pieces, quality clothing, outdoor equipment etc. (unlike the auction, we are unable to accept furniture or very large items)
Welcome to our inaugural Bairns Table Top Sale (or indoor Car Boot Sale) – the place for all your family needs!
Come and sell your preloved toys, clothes, books, pregnancy items, and all the in-between bits and bobs from pregnancy to teenage years.
Boat Bairns Table Top Sale will run alongside a Community Cafe.
Entrance into the sale will be £1 to the public.

A dino-tastic family day out filled with dinosaur themed activities, competitions and fab prizes up for grabs.

What’s more-come meet our very realistic 22 roaring dinosaurs or uncover an entire T-rex Fossil in Dinosaur Kingdom. You can embark on a Tricersatops hunt to find Baby Tia and visit our very own Dinosaur Hatchery.
Great competition activities- take on our Dino Foil Balloon Challenge for a chance to win a 20+ item ‘Dinosaur Goody Bag’! ‘Attack of the Robosaur Clones’, find all the Robosaur clones in Bamboozeleum for a chance to win your very own Robotic Dinosaur! Join us in your costumes and share your photos of your visit to enter our ‘Best Dressed Dino’ Photo Competition- we will be giving away an Annual Pass for 4, to one lucky winner!
If you have a little ‘Dinosaur fan’ at home our ‘Dino Days’ are an ideal treat for them.
This year, the Cairngorms Nature BIG Weekend has evolved into a whole ten days of events, challenges, activities and fun across the National Park.
Running from the 12th-21st May, there will be family events, guided nature walks, adventure activities, Estate tours, conservation highlights and more!

An event that buzzes!
Carve Carrbridge, also known as the Scottish Open Chainsaw Carving Competition attracts over 20 chainsaw carvers from around the world to compete and create something truly special in just 4 hours. Carvings are judged on artistic merit, technical difficulty, and originality.
In 2022 the youngest ever winner was Sam Bowsher aged 24. Sam has been coming to Carve Carrbridge since he was about 6 years old, watching his Dad and multiple winner, Pete Bowsher in action. Sam made his debut at Carve Carrbridge in 2019 and also won the Discovery Channel Canada’s TV event ‘A Cut Above’ in 2022.
The competition at Carve Carrbridge is fierce and the creations by these talented folk are awe inspiring.
If you are around the Cairngorms you might come across some carvings bought in the Grand Auction and the Carving Trail around Carrbridge showcases many from past years.
The event is organised and run by over 70 local volunteers with support from a number of local businesses and the longevity of this event is testament to the the community spirit that has brought it to this milestone.

Discover the magic of the outdoors after dark in the Cairngorms National Park with our star-gazing experience. Loch Insh is a great dark skies area being just outside the local village.
The emphasis is on naked-eye observation, but we will also teach you how to use your smart phones (make sure they are fully charged) and you could bring binoculars if you have them.
Wrap yourself up well as we will spend a good hour outdoors weather permitting. Bring a low light torch to make walking in the woodland trails easier. Our guides will lead you to some magical local places to capture some cool night photos on your smart phone or camera. The dark trees provide a dramatic contrast to the night sky.
In Scotland, cloudy skies are a fact of life, but we do get some clear skies to and even the Northern lights. You just never know what you’re going to get.
We’ll do everything we can to create a memorable experience for you and your loved ones. You’ll leave knowing a great deal more about stargazing than the majority of people.
Join us for a 2km trail run around the beautiful Abernethy Forest. Bring your own Santa Hat, wear some red and get into the Festive spirit.
Registration from 10am at Nethy Bridge Games Field.
Entry £5 (all proceeds will go to Abernethy Primary School PTA)
Primary aged School Children must be accompanied by an adult.
