We will begin this incredible day with a full morning of coaching covering FUNdamentals to trail riding and riding features such as rocks, small drops, rollers and berms, working on control, technique and most importantly building your confidence. We’ll have lunch at the amazing trailside cafe before heading out for a guided ride of Glenlivet’s best trails in the afternoon, where we’ll have the opportunity to put our new skills into practice. Our Glenlivet Trail Day is for adult riders wishing to have fun on blue and red trails with like minded individuals.
Laggan Wolftrax
Up there with the best trail centre riding in Scotland, Laggan Wolftrax offers miles of purpose built trails with gnarly rock gardens, swoopy berms and the infamous ‘airs rock’ among the highlights. As if the trails weren’t enough, the incredible views to the Monadhliath mountains and those cakes from the cafe make Laggan a must-visit destination on the trail centre circuit!
Our day will begin with a full morning of coaching on specific features like rock gardens, drops and turns, building our confidence, technique and control. After lunch, we’ll head out for a guided ride in the afternoon, taking in the best trails Laggan has to offer and putting those newly learned skills into practice. Our Laggan Trail Day is aimed at intermediate riders – those who are comfortable on blue graded trails but would like to build ability and confidence on red trails and features.
Join us in the spectacular, remote and challenging Highlands of Scotland for an unforgettable, life-changing adventure. We are offering two race distances, so something for almost everyone – newbies to seasoned and experienced racers.
Both courses will be a compelling multi-day, multi-sport journey through unique and historic landscapes of forests, mountains, rivers, sea and lakes (or lochs!). Expect multiple stages of trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and the odd ‘special stage’ thrown in as well. Navigation (using maps and compass) and self-sufficiency are at the heart of adventure racing – the glue that binds the course together and enables a true adventure. Get your team-mates sorted, and get entered into this epic event!.
ITERA races have a unique Long & Short Course format that allows for a wider range of experience and ability to successfully complete the course. Most Checkpoints (CPs) are optional, and so each team can create a course that plays to their strategic strengths. Around 30% of the teams will be able to complete the Long Course (all CPs). Most of the remainder will pick and choose the optional CPs and thus finish the Short Course.
Join us for a cycling event and a fun and inclusive weekend in a great natural environment.
The Cateran Dirt Dash bikepacking event takes you in two days through the stunning surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park to enjoy the dramatic scenery in the Cateran Ecomuseum.
It’s the perfect way to experience the rugged beauty of Scotland’s only museum without walls. This event has a shorter route than the Dashes in Yorkshire and Dunoon; it’s the perfect introduction to bikepacking in Scotland.

Glenlivet Enduro – Round #2 – Aberdeenshire Enduro Series
We’re super excited to be heading back to Bike Glenlivet for our second event of the the 2024 Aberdeenshire Enduro Series (#AES2024). The crack team at this bike park continues to innovate and develop the trails, making it bigger and better than ever, for riders of all experience and abilities!
For those new to it, an enduro race is where riders are timed in downhill stages, with neutral transfer stages (climbs!) in between. Enduro routes are aimed to be rideable by reasonably competent mountain bikers, with the lite being slightly easier, both technically and endurance wise.
The Glenlivet full route is around 24km long, with 840m of climb and includes 7 timed single track stages. The lite route omits the trickiest stage, making it a bit shorter and with less climb. If you’re new to this location, or riding in enduros, plenty of local coaching and guiding companies, including some of our fantastic sponsors, will be able to help you get familiar with the area and provide some useful riding tips, before the race.
Our one day events have a fun and friendly atmosphere. We attract all levels of rider, from the seriously competitive, to those just looking for a brilliant day in the hills in good company. We have a wide range of categories for male and female riders of all ages, including full suss, hard tail as well as ebikes and we are proud to be the only Scottish events offering entry to 9-12 year old riders (who need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone).
All categories have great prizes provided by our fantastic sponsors, which are Scottish businesses, mainly based in our Aberdeenshire home area. Afterwards you’ll be able to catch up with friends old and new in the event village and pick up some tasty hot food and drinks from the Bike Glenlivet cafe. So make sure to bring a card or some change!

The 2024 treasure chest of films includes:
• a visually commanding film following one rider’s colourful adventure scouring the most beautiful spots from Guatemala to Peru via Bolivia bringing together a masterpiece of breathtaking images and memories
• a documentary about a community of cyclists from Alexandra, New Zealand who all share a similar love and passion for their place, people and sport
• discovering how a bicycle can be much more than a bicycle, bringing change to people’s lives
• a determined father and his daughter prepare for their greatest adventure together: an ambitious ride that will push them to physical and emotional limits on a gruelling bike ride around Central Otago’s Lake Dunstan Trail
• we meet a passionate and quirky Australian “bicycle whisperer”
• we join 10 young people as they learn to ride a long way… embarking on a 900km bikepacking trip from Wellington to Wānaka in New Zealand
• a fast-paced, fun, and feminist bike race film set in Toronto, Canada that finally gives a groundbreaking, nearly forgotten athletic hero her rightful place in history
• a moving movie set in Scotland, showcasing how the simple joy of riding bikes can make a big impact
• and rounding out the night, “Everesting” is a feather few cyclists have in their caps, but what happens if your cap is full? So full in fact, you think “lets go big, why not do two?”
ALL in the mix!
These short films are a great reminder of why we love to ride our bike; with stories that captivate us, stories that make us think, and most importantly of all – inspiring us to get out and ride. All celebrate the fun, adventure, and joy that cycling enables.
