The Superpowers of Minibeasts: Self-Led Trail

Ever wondered what colour a slug?s blood is? Or how bees talk to each other? The answers might be stranger than you think! Follow our self-led activity trail through the forest by Loch Morlich Beach to discover the weird and wonderful world of minibeasts.

Pick up an activity sheet from the Visitor Centre (open 7 days a week, 9.30am-4pm) or simply follow the Beach Trail (yellow waymarkers) clockwise from the Visitor Centre, looking out for the minibeast panels along the route.
This event is part of the Cairngorms Nature Festival which runs from 12 – 21 May 2023. It’s a ten day festival with over 80 exciting events across the Cairngorms National Park celebrating the incredible landscapes and nature found here.
