At Glenmore we are restoring the ancient Caledonian pinewood by encouraging regeneration of native broadleaves and Scots pine. Join our foresters for a morning of volunteering, using a variety of methods to remove non-native trees to help protect this special habitat and the species that call it home.

Gain practical forestry skills, improve your tree ID, and learn about Glenmore?s fascinating ecology – getting a bit of exercise and making new friends along the way!
This event is part of the Cairngorms Nature Festival which runs from 12 – 21 May 2023. It’s a ten day festival with over 80 exciting events across the Cairngorms National Park celebrating the incredible landscapes and nature found here.
