When is this event?

A blessing of the animals has long been associated with St Francis of Assisi. The Feast Day of St Francis falls on October 4th, so we are following in that tradition of blessing animals. We invite you to bring your animals to church on the 20th, so they can be blessed. However, we do understand the need to keep animals calm and unstressed, so if you feel unable to bring your animal along, bring a photo of them instead.
A time of blessing the animals will be incorporated into the service, with refreshments following afterwards. All are welcome.
Where is this event being held?
St Columba Scottish Episcopal Church, part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. St Columba’s is the first church on the left as you enter Grantown-on-Spey from the South, next to the Craiglynne Hotel. Parking is available. The church and hall are fully accessible.
