This performance installation takes inspiration from reptile species that live in the wild in Scotland. Reptiles must get rid of their old skin each year in order to grow. We invite you to explore this idea with us through dance and words, the idea of stepping out of your own skin, of shedding to grow, of sluffing off. The music for Ecdysis is an exciting collaboration with renowned Producers from the alternative music scenes in London and Bristol including Sgt Pokes, Pinch, N-Type, Silkie, Mako and Lost.
Bring along your teddy and together explore our undergrowth trail around Milton Loch. After tackling the trail you & your Teddy can enjoy a picnic lunch before taking part in more fun minibeast activities including pond dipping & minibeast hunting.
