When is this event?
The story of Force K6 will be told in a multi-media performance with storytelling, images, music and poetry. This is part of the Storylands Sessions and is produced in partnership with Colourful Heritage, with financial support from Creative Scotland and the Cairngorms National Park. The event will be led by Merryn Glover.
A practical workshop on James Macpherson’s Ossianic Collections, exploring excerpts from the poetry and your responses to them. It will be led by Dr Jim Macpherson, senior lecturer in history at UHI.

Celebrate the lives of the Indian K6 soldiers who were posted to Badenoch during the Second World War at the unveilling of a memorial to them, followed by a visit to the graves led by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
This interactive storytelling and object handling session offers children the chance to explore replica and original artefacts from Scottish folklore. It will be led by artist and author Eileen Budd.

This talk by Roger Knight from the Spey Fisheries Board will focus on other water abstraction from the River Spey and its tributaries.
