Join Forestry and Land Scotland fungi enthusiast Paul Hibbard for a relexaed and fascinating introduction to fungi, their ecology, indentification, uses and folklore
We will meet at the Glenmore Visitor Centre, where your morning begins with a hot drink and morning pastry (included in your ticket) and a welcome and introdutory chat with Paul. We will then head out for walk in forest to discover some of the fungi found around Glenmore and learn about the important role they play in the forest ecosystem
The walk is approximately one mile, following gravel and earth paths with some moderate slopes. The pace will be relaxed with plenty of time to stop, look and learn
Please note:
Maximum 15 participants
Suitable for ages 12+
Dogs are not permitted on this event
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable outdoor footwear
Parking charges apply at Glenmore Visitor Centre
£15 per person, including hot drink and morning pastry (eventbrite fees apply)
