The annual New Year’s Day Dip invites participants to start the year with a cold-water splash in Loch Insh. It is a charity fundraiser, with proceeds going to local Highland community causes—specifically supporting Lucky2bhere,
The main activity of Lucky2BHere is to place defibrillators and deliver emergency life support training to communities throughout Scotland. .Fancy dress and warm woolly hats are strongly encouraged!
Arrival and Parking: From 09:30.
The Dip: 10:30 Sharp.
Registration: Must be completed online before 11:00 on December 31st, with waviers completed.

Entry Fee/Donation: £15 entry fee donation per participant
The Boathouse Restaurant will be open from 10:00 for takeaway breakfast rolls and hot drinks.
What to Bring: Bring water shoes, neoprene boots or old trainers – the entry into the Loch is stoney and can be slippery. You can hire Wetsuit Boots from us for the event. We suggest wearing a warm, wooly hat for the dip, and bring plenty of easy layers, such as dry robes, for after the dip.
Parking is available on site but fills up quickly. Carsharing is encouraged, and please allow extra time to get parked.
