David is a qualified Mountain Leader with over fifteen years experience as a photographer and ten years guiding and instructing on photography workshops.
We offer both scheduled 1-day workshops which are open to anyone to join, as well as private experiences tailored to your needs.

From the depths of the rare and beautiful Caledonian Forests that fill our glens, to the heights of the windswept Cairngorm plateau, there is an astonishing diversity of beauty.

Whatever the weather, and the season, great photography opportunities await. On our workshops we will teach you the fundamental camera skills you need that then allow you to focus entirely on the rich and nuanced beauty of the landscape around us.

We will encourage you to work toward finding a deeper knowledge of the land so you can find opportunities, while also giving you the benefit of our unparalleled local knowledge. Workshops are run in small groups only, so you can be certain of lots of personal attention throughout the day, responding to your learning needs.
