Situated in the heart of beautiful Strathspey between Aviemore and Grantown, Nethy Bridge is best recognised by the iconic landmarks of its historic Old Kirk and ancient Castle Roy set against the grand backdrop of Abernethy Forest and the Cairngorm mountain ranges.
A Highland holiday destination for Scots since Victorian times, Nethy Bridge has one of the earliest and finest 9-hole golf courses in the area. The majority of accommodation is hidden away in quiet locations next to the ancient Caledonian pine forest so that this 'forest village' is now also well known for the rich variety of forest walks and marked trails that are possible straight from the doorstep.  Spanning the the River Nethy with its classic 200 year old Telford bridge, just a mile before it reaches the River Spey beside Broomhill Station at the end of the Strathspey Steam Railway, this village is a real treasure in the Highlands and an ideal base from which to explore the Cairngorms National Park.
