Highland Wildscapes - Guided Adventures

Guided Adventures with a twist! Highland Wildscapes offer unique guided walks and hikes in the Cairngorms National Park.

For instance, you might like to join us on a hillwalk in the Cairngorms where we follow in the footsteps of Nan Shepherd, and discuss the insights it gives us into her book 'The Living Mountain'.

Or, you could join us on a gentle evening stroll on one of our Space Walks where we take you on a guided tour of the solar system beneath the stars.

Alternatively, delve into local history and folklore as we walk through the Caledonian Forest following ancient routes used for centuries by travellers, drovers, and armies. The Cairngorms National Park is an incredible area to explore on foot, with a tremendous diversity of habitat.

But there's even more to it than meets the eye. Highland Wildscapes is run by David Russell, Aviemore based guide and landscape photographer.

David has a passion for storytelling and learning, and is a qualified mountain leader. We run both scheduled adventures which are open to anyone to join, as well as private and bespoke experiences. .
