Since our formation in 1890 Kingussie Camanachd Club has been playing Shinty and representing the town of Kingussie, the capital of Badenoch, in national competitions.
We play our home games at The Dell and train at the Market Stance, both on the towns Ruthven Road. In 2018 KCC became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), regulated by The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
KCC has 5 teams – Under 12’s, Under 14’s, Under 17’s, 2nd Team and 1st Team. We are a vibrant and ambitious Shinty Club at the heart of our community.
Our aim is to allow players of all ages to develop in a safe, fun and enjoyable environment. We are an inclusive club and are open to all, promoting good behaviour, respect for others and the importance of teamwork.
We are proud of our close links and support for Badenoch Ladies Shinty Club Our club coaching philosophy provides clear direction and guidance to support the development of our players. We appreciate the support from our community and aim to reciprocate by working closely with local groups to help the community and encourage our players to get actively involved. Come and see us at The Dell most Saturdays between March and September – you will be very welcome!.
