The Cairngorms Business Partnership (CBP) is looking to recruit an experienced and creative Project Manager to lead an exciting new project in partnership with Scottish Enterprise (SE), CBP and the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA).

“Snow Roads” will develop and deliver a world class scenic route along the already iconic mountain route from Blairgowrie to Grantown-On-Spey via Glenshee, Braemar, Ballater and Tomintoul.

We will create a must do scenic route using technology to create an immersive and authentic visitor experience for both the domestic and overseas market. Through commissioning market research we will create a more detailed understanding of target markets and we will build a toolkit for local businesses to consistently bring this world class destination to life.

This is a two year fixed term position starting 1 May 2017.

Title: Project Manager - Snow Roads

Salary: Competitive, £25,000-£30,000 FTE depending on experience

Location: The Project Manager will be based in the Cairngorms National Park Authority's office in Station Square, Ballater, AB35 5YJ

Hours: The role is based on 3 days per week (22.5 hours), some additional work and travel may be required to meet project milestones. This may include some international travel and attendance at trade shows. Hours worked can be flexible by agreement.

Job Purpose: To implement an exciting, innovative and technologically rich project over a two year period.

Reporting To: CEO, Cairngorms Business Partnership.
